The Seven Fires Logo: “Pathways to Sovereignty”
The Seven Fires logomark is as intentional as is the cause itself. From thoughtful color to multi-faceted applications, it represents the hope of reclamation and restoration for all that’s been lost across Indian country, and holds the visual spark that can help lead Indigenous partners and communities to a more sovereign future.
The Logomark
Comprised of seven interwoven parts, the Seven Fires logomark represents essential building blocks, providing structure, strength and passion for change.
Symbolism
Similar to the dancing flames of a fire, this symbol’s power lives in its ability to transform. From woven strands of a basket, to agriculture, or a traditional tipi, the mark can take on individual meaning.
The logomark also implies strategic direction with multiple pathways by which sovereignty can be achieved.
Pattern
When the logomark is replicated and quilted together to form a pattern, the vision of a growing community and its equitable future comes unfolds, exposing new opportunities that lead toward sovereignty. Finally, at the core of this vision lives the catalyst — a single ember representing a spark of change.
